The first galleys have gone out for possible blurbs and I am proofing the second pass galleys and working on my new novel. When you have edited a novel a lot (and I worked a great deal with my creative editor!) you look for scenes that are missing and are surprised at ones you almost can't recall you wrote. Meanwhile life goes on this cool autumn day in New York between friends and walks and cleaning (ugh!) and welcoming people to my beautiful Anglican church on a NYC city tour of buildings of architectural importance and beauty. Sun streamed in through one stained glass window. People have worshipped there since 1901.
